Emotions like pain, sorrow, anger, all need a place to go to be expressed, gotten out of our system in a healthy way. Many of us don’t know how to express ourselves honestly, so we held stuff in, which lead to depression. Depression is not a disease. It is a state of mind. Like any other teenager, Ayushi Singh was also suffering the same but she had power in her pain. Here’s her story from wildness to wisdom. Her story is relatable to every person who is unable to express themselves and feel lost and suffers from depression.
“I am an author, public speaker, and software engineer, apart from this, also likes to interact with people who are facing with different mental issues and psychological issues. I love to write diaries. I love to write what I express, what I felt, what I felt gratitude for, and what I felt sorry for. Then, I realized that writing the diary and reading it, again and again, will not make me feel good. So, after some time I stepped out to the world and explored. I started writing and publishing my work. There, also I realized that some static words are not loud enough to reach other people.
I came on stage and screamed. I screamed wisdom, I screamed power and helped people understand what I had gone through. Today, I am standing in front of the world saying that I am not just a speaker. I am the person who helped people like me to not to face what I have faced. My weakness has turned into power and this is what public speaking is all about. Unless and until you cannot connect with the audience in front of you, it is fake.
Public speaking is an art and you can learn it too like me. I was supposed to be a very introvert person with a very silent attitude, sitting somewhere at the back of the classroom. But now, I can stand in front and leading the crowd behind me. If you love to express, then speak up. It hardly matters what language you choose, what way you choose, what words you choose. What matters is, how much you connect with the people in front of you.
This is `kahaani zidd ki’ of Ayushi Singh from wildness to wisdom. But what exactly is wisdom? Wisdom is a tree that grows in the heart and its fruit appears upon the tongue. Make wisdom your provision for the journey from youth to old age because it is more certain support than all other possessions. If you have Zidd and learning, add to it wisdom and modesty.
